By using Brevities, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Brevities is an AI-powered writing revision tool that helps users make text shorter, clearer, more natural, and more consistent with their own writing style.
Brevities is a writing assistance tool. It does not guarantee that outputs will be accurate, complete, original, suitable for a particular purpose, or accepted by any school, employer, platform, publication, or third party.
2. Subscriptions and Fair Use
We offer paid subscription plans (including Brevities Pro) that provide access to additional features, advanced AI models, and increased generation capacities.
Fair Use Policy:Features marked as “unlimited” (such as unlimited generations and rewrites on the Pro plan) are subject to fair use constraints to prevent abuse and ensure service stability. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to temporarily rate-limit, restrict, or suspend access for any account that exhibits automated usage patterns, consumption levels significantly exceeding normal human writing activity, or actions that degrade performance for other users.
3. Accounts
You may need to create an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of your User Content (text, writing samples, prompts). By submitting User Content, you grant Brevities a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and display your content solely as needed to provide the Service.
5. AI Outputs
You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before using them.
AI outputs may be inaccurate, omit important context, change meaning unintentionally, or be similar to outputs generated for other users. You should not rely on Brevities as the sole source of truth for factual, legal, medical, or professional decisions.
6. Academic Use
You agree not to use Brevities to misrepresent authorship, violate academic integrity rules, or engage in plagiarism. You are responsible for understanding and following the rules that apply to your academic work.
7. Prohibited Uses
You may not use Brevities to violate any law, infringe intellectual property, generate deceptive/harmful content, or attempt to reverse engineer the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in San Francisco, California, USA.
